Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. If you’ve arranged an airport transfer, one of our local representatives will meet you upon arrival. Otherwise, make your way to the Kathmandu Guesthouse, where check-in is available from 3pm.
At 17:00, meet your local guide for a pre-trek briefing, where you’ll go over the plan for the coming days. Afterwards, we’ll head to one of our recommended restaurants for a welcome dinner.

Today, we set off on a 6–8 hour drive through the Nepalese countryside to Ramechhap Airport, the gateway for flights to the Everest region. On arrival, enjoy dinner and settle in for the night before tomorrow’s early flight.

An early start today as we take a short but breathtaking flight to Lukla, home to the world-famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport. From here, we begin our trek, following the Dudh Koshi River through lush forests and small Sherpa villages until we reach Phakding, where we’ll spend the night.

Important: Flights to and from Lukla can be delayed or cancelled due to weather conditions. While we have built-in contingency days, if necessary, alternative arrangements via helicopter or jeep may be required—costs for this should be covered by your travel insurance.

Today’s trek takes us across suspension bridges, through pine forests, and into the Sagarmatha National Park, where the landscape becomes more dramatic. After a challenging final ascent, we arrive in Namche Bazaar, the famous Sherpa town where you’ll find coffee shops, bakeries, trekking stores, and even a hairdresser!

To help adjust to the altitude, we take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel, offering spectacular panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. On the way down, grab a coffee at Sagarmatha Next Project, a great place to learn about sustainable trekking.

Leaving Namche, we ascend towards Mong-La Pass, where you’ll be treated to incredible views of the Khumbu Valley and surrounding peaks. From here, we descend slightly before reaching Phortse, a lesser-visited Sherpa village offering a more peaceful trekking experience.

As we continue our ascent, the landscape shifts to high-altitude terrain, where temperatures start to drop. We arrive in Dingboche, a beautiful village nestled in the mountains at 4,400m. Warm up at Café 4410 with a cup of coffee and a chat with Kami, the local owner.

A crucial acclimatisation day as we hike up to Nagarjun Peak. From here, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Island Peak, before descending back to Dingboche for a relaxing afternoon.

Today’s journey takes us past the Thukla Memorial, a moving tribute to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From here, we push on to Lobuche, where the air is noticeably thinner, and the excitement builds as we get closer to Base Camp.

The big day! After trekking to Gorakshep, we stop for lunch before making our way to Everest Base Camp. Take in the incredible views of the Khumbu Icefall, soak up the atmosphere, and celebrate reaching this iconic location.
